PHYS 4490 - Independent Study in Physics

Fall, spring. 1-4 credits, variable.

Prerequisite: permission of professor who will direct proposed work. A maximum of 8 credits may be applied to physics major. Copy of Request for Independent Study form must be filed with physics department course coordinator, 121 Clark Hall.

Staff.

Individual project work (reading or laboratory) in any branch of physics. Products vary, but may include a thesis. Evaluation criteria are decided between student and faculty member.
