CS 5112 - Algorithms and Data Structures for Applications Fall, Spring. 3 credits. Letter grades only.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with basic programming, algorithms, and data structures (at the level taught in a sophomore course), or permission of instructor. Enrollment limited to: Cornell Tech students. Offered in New York City at Cornell Tech.

Fundamental algorithms and data structures used in current applications. Algorithms include graph algorithms, hashing and streaming/sketching techniques. Applications will include selected topics in computer vision, image processing and machine learning.
