Global brands have been increasingly competing on their supply chain excellence. Efficient supply chains can enable firms to increase market shares, reduce costs, and improve customer service. This course introduces core strategies and best practices for supply chain management. The following topics will be covered in the course: data-driven supply chains, vendor-managed-inventory, product life cycle strategy, outsourcing and procurement, and supply chain finance. This course is case-oriented and offers timely and interesting material developed by the instructor. Deliverables: brief individual and team case write-ups, a simulation game report, and a quiz at the end of the course.
