This hands on intensive introduces you to a design toolkit and mindset for creative problem solving, to discover new opportunities for impact, to drive relevant innovation and to prepare you to be healthcare innovators in your respected field. Students will learn about the principle of design thinking and human centered design. Adopted by major consulting firms, large corporations, tech start-ups, healthcare providers and NGOs, design has rapidly emerged as an innovation driver. You will be asked to design an innovative solution to one of the complex problems posed by our current healthcare ecosystem. You will use new methods for understanding user needs, coming up with original ideas, and soliciting authentic feedback on your ideas.
