This course examines how the theories covered in ILRID 1520 (Introduction to Psychology of Work I: Theories) can be applied to understand and influence human behavior in work contexts. Students will explore key psychological concepts that underlie human behavior in work contexts and examine how these psychological concepts can be used to inform effective organizational policies and practices. Topics include how psychological theories can be applied to improve decision-making and motivate, incentivize, develop and organize people and teams within organizations.
