The Paul Rubacha Department of Real Estate will develop visionary real estate leaders who will tackle the most pressing societal challenges facing the industry.

Minor in Real Estate


An option for most professional graduate students at Cornell.

The minor gives professional graduate students across the university the opportunity to take advantage of the wide variety of real estate courses offered by the Cornell Baker Program in Real Estate.

Upon successful completion of the required classes, the Graduate Minor in Real Estate designation will appear on students’ official Cornell transcript.

The Graduate Minor in Real Estate at Cornell University is fulfilled with a minimum of five courses, totaling a minimum of 15 credit hours. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required in the coursework completed for the minor.

Application Process


Students declaring the Graduate Minor in Real Estate should complete the Graduate Real Estate Minor Application after completion of HADM 6200 . Contact reminor@cornell.edu with questions.

ELECTIVE COURSEWORK

Students must take six credits total from the enrichment and complementary categories listed below. At least three of those credits must be from among the enrichment category. Students may take all six credits from the enrichment category to meet the elective requirements of the minor. Course enrollment may be subject to prerequisites. Course availability changes each semester and not all courses may be offered each semester. The Department of Real Estate will review and make decisions on alternative courses via petition.
